for breeding the "Mare" ______________________________________ to the Belgian Warmblood Stallions Semen by the stallion ____________________________________ for the 2008 Breeding Season (Present Breeding Season) as specified in this contract. This contract is subject to the following terms and conditions:

Conditions:

This contract covers the purchase of a BWS Frozen Semen breeding for 3 breeding doses of Frozen Semen for a stallion. Each dose will contain the correct amount of straws required for each breeding dose. This amount is determined in Belgium after collection. The number of straws required is provided to you when your Frozen Semen is shipped to you.

The frozen semen has been tested in Belgium and is EVA negative.

No Frozen Semen will be shipped until all fees are paid. This includes the Frozen Semen stud fee, shipping/handling fee and container deposit.

The semen will be shipped in a liquid nitrogen "Dry Shipper" at the Buyer’s expense. The shipment should be planned well in advance of the planned breeding so that the shipper can be made available and charged with liquid nitrogen. Dry Shippers must be returned promptly. $25/day will be charged for Dry Shippers that are not posted returned to BWS within 24hr. Additionally, before removing semen from the dry shipper, check that the tank is good condition and semen has not been damaged. Once semen is moved from the tank it is no longer covered by BWS or Fed- Ex. If damaged, call BWS at 512-751-2390 immediately for insurance claim. DO NOT REMOVE SEMEN!

All semen will be shipped with Fed Ex and will be Insured for the value of the semen and the Shipper. Reports of damaged shipments must be made within 24hr or insurance is not valid.

Fees:

Frozen Semen Fee: $1200 for 3 doses

Handling Fee: $150

Shipping Fee and Container Deposit: $300 (the balance after shipping will be refunded to the Buyer once the mare is in foal). $25/day late fees will be applied towards this balance if the Dry Shipper is not posted for return within 24 hr. In the event that the Dry Shipper is not returned, the Buyer forfeits the breeding certificate.
